Go Grand Outlet Riviera Maya in Cancun, the largest in Latin America

On Thursday, August 31, 2023, the Go Grand Outlet Riviera Maya shopping center captivated locals and tourists, who wanted to be the first to explore the new commercial space.

Vladimir Mailen, Operations Director of Grand Outlet, specified that one of the main attractions of this new shopping plaza is that 30% of the space is dedicated to entertainment, while 70% is for commercial purposes. It includes a luxury zone with brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Carolina Herrera, Armani, Purificación García, Adolfo Domínguez, among others. He also mentioned that this center will be operating from 11 in the morning until 10 at night.

In addition, as part of the entertainment, there will be go-karts, batting cages, axe throwing, an ice rink, as well as live music and other shows in the open area, suitable for the whole family. However, the entertainment activities will formally start operating within the next 30 to 60 days.

Currently, the confirmed occupancy is between 75 and 78%. There are still vacant spaces, so the management invited local entrepreneurs to come and explore the available opportunities. “In terms of investment, the reality is that nearly 3 billion pesos were invested in this project,” confirmed the Operations Director.

In this regard, Bernardo Cueto Riestra, Secretary of Tourism, considered it to be an opening of great importance for the destination as it expands the entertainment offerings in the state, contributes to the diversification of the product, and will allow many tourists to have a better image of the destination.

The commercial complex, considered the largest in Latin America, is located on the outskirts of Cancun, opposite the Moon Palace hotel.
