Jaguar-Tulum Park

The Jaguar Park, a project of the Government of Mexico for the territorial planning of Tulum, Quintana Roo, is an environmental and cultural preservation project that covers an area of 1,000 hectares (about 2,500 acres) and aims to become a protected public space where people can live in harmony with nature and appreciate Mayan history.

A few years ago Tulum was only an archaeological zone with a tiny town adjacent to the highway whose inhabitants lived from the sale of handicrafts related to the site.

The animated movie Super Mario Bros was released in Mexico in early April, and along with it, the song “Peaches”, which is interpreted by Bowser, the famous villain of the movie and of the well-known video games starring the brothers Mario and Luigi.
