The new normal means we need to reinvent the ways we travel. It is necessary to implement measures that guarantee the confidence and safety of travelers when reactivating tourism.

That is why the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) will give the Global Security Seal to tourist destinations that implement its new hygiene and sanitization measures,
standards and protocols for safe travel to protect the health of travelers.

The tourist destinations that will receive this important distinction are Saudi Arabia, Barcelona, Portugal, Seville and Cancún, the latter being the first beach destination on the continent of America to receive the Seal.

This distinction is fully endorsed by the World Tourism Organization and the CEOs of more than 200 companies.

Travelers arriving to destinations with the Global Security Seal will be able to do so with complete confidence that hotels, restaurants, airports and tourism-related establishments meet the proper hygiene standards, which will give them peace of mind during their stay.
