On February 17, NASCAR Mexico announced two unprecedented events in the state of Quintana Roo: the Tulum Airshow and the Mexico Aerospace Fair, both to be held at the Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport.
The activities will begin on April 23 with air shows, while the roar of NASCAR Mexico engines will arrive for the first time at this airport on April 25 and 26, as part of the third race of the 2026 NASCAR Mexico Series season.
Organizers reported that they expect more than 30,000 people to attend the event and assured that all preparations regarding security, hotels, and logistics are complete to welcome attendees from April 23 to 26.
NASCAR Mexico is considered the country’s leading breeding ground for drivers in its NASCAR Mexico Series and Challenge Series divisions.
