On December 12, 2024, with 199 passengers, the flight with which Discover Airlines, Lufthansa’s quality vacation airline, began operations on the direct route from Frankfurt (FRA) to Tulum (TQO) arrived. The flight was operated with a fully-filled Airbus A330-300, will take place twice a week and will continue until April 27, 2025.
Discover Airlines has been operating flights year-round from Frankfurt to Cancun for more than three years. In 2023, it transported more than 268,500 passengers to Mexico, of which 55.7% chose the Mexican Caribbean as their travel destination.
