The forty-fifth edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR), held from January 22 to 26, 2025 in Madrid, Spain, closed its doors with resounding success, reaffirming itself as the most important event for the global tourism industry.
With the participation of 9,500 companies from 156 countries and an attendance of approximately 250,000 visitors, FITUR 2025 broke participation records and stood out especially for two major protagonists: Andalusia and Mexico. In addition, on this occasion, FITUR 2025 also underlined the importance of sustainability, innovation and diversity.
Mexico presented a new orientation towards cultural tourism with an ambitious tourism development plan and its stand stood out for the fusion of ancient traditions and vibrant modernity.
