Great place to bring family or friends

This is my 7th time visiting and this is still my happy place. The service keeps getting better every time I visit and the food is 90% great. The beach is lovely, though not a rolling wave type of beach. The resort is undergoing a ton of remodeling but they worked hard to not have it interfere too much. In fact, I did TRX on a palm tree, which I hope they keep – it was spectacular. I love this resort because it its too big or too loud and there is a lot of great diversity. It isn’t a 20something get trashed type of place but great for families and groups of friends. Bring a raft and float down the river from the Cenote to the ocean – it is glorious!
