On March 28, Sunset World Resorts & Vacation Experiences hotels will join the global Earth Hour initiative, one of the world’s leading environmental campaigns that invites individuals, businesses, and organizations to turn off their lights for one hour to reflect on the importance of caring for our planet.
This year, Sunset World hotels will participate by turning off the lights in various areas and organizing special activities that invite guests and staff to enjoy a unique experience in nature. These activities promote ecological awareness through educational workshops, crafts using recycled materials, and outdoor performances that can be enjoyed without artificial lighting.
Earth Hour is celebrated every year on the last Saturday of March and consists of turning off the lights for one hour as a symbolic gesture to raise awareness about climate change and the need to adopt more sustainable habits. This initiative, driven by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), brings together millions of people and thousands of cities around the world who are joining this global call for the environment.
