National Environmental Conservation Day

In Mexico, the National Environmental Conservation Day is celebrated on November 27, a day dedicated to recognizing and promoting the work of those who are dedicated to preserving the environment. On this day we seek to encourage the participation of our society in actions of conservation and care of the environment, promoting good habits and the exchange of ideas and knowledge to contribute to the protection of ecosystems.

Here are some habits we suggest to help conserve the environment from home:

1. Reduce, reuse and recycle: minimize the consumption of inorganic items and give a second life to those you consume.

2. Save energy: use efficient appliances, turn off lights and devices that are not in use, consider renewable energy sources.

3. Take care of water: be alert and repair leaks, use sustainable irrigation techniques.

4. Plant trees and vegetation: participate in reforestation activities and take care of green spaces.

5. Prioritize sustainable transportation: use a bicycle, walk, carpool or use public transportation.

6. Consume locally and sustainably: support local producers and choose seasonal foods.

7. Avoid single-use plastics: opt for reusable products and bring your own bag when shopping.

8. Inform and educate: share your knowledge about environmental conservation and promote ecological awareness.

9. Respect fauna and flora: Do not disturb animals in their natural habitat and do not buy species that are in danger.

10. Act responsibly: make informed choices and participate in local initiatives that promote sustainability.
