The Sunset World Boat Parade, Sunset World Group’s Aquatic Celebration, Sails the Nichupte Lagoon Again with Great Success

Cancun, Mexico – As Sunset World Group announced in recent days, its famous Sunset World Boat Parade was held on the afternoon of February 24, this time with the theme “Los Mares”. Once again, members and guests of the Group had the opportunity to gather and have a great time, dancing and admiring the sunset aboard one of the participating boats decorated with striking marine motifs and sailing through the Nichupté lagoon.

Sunset World Grupo’s members and guests began to arrive at Sunset Marina hotel at 5:00 pm where they enjoyed a welcome cocktail and a performance before boarding their boat. Once everyone was on board, the contingent set sail and the fun began with entertainment groups, music and the aim to have a great time. After around 40 minutes of travel, the boats arrived at the Sunset Admiral Marina & Yacht Club facilities where the fun continued on land with a vibrant cocktail party with drinks, snacks and live music.

It is worth mentioning that the members and guests of Sunset World Group who stayed at one of the Group’s two hotels in Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya, Sunset Fishermen and Hacienda Tres Ríos respectively, had roundtrip transportation so they would not miss this incredible party.

The evening closed with a flourish, inviting all who so wished to dine at Azúcar restaurant, the new Caribbean restaurant open to the general public that offers live music to dance to daily and is located within the facilities of Sunset Marina.

“For us at Sunset World Group it is important to connect with our members and guests in a personal way like we do at the Sunset World Boat Parade,” said Martha Richardson, Corporate Director of Operations for Sunset World Group. “This is how they know that we take them into account and that their vacations are very important to us,” she concluded.

Sunset World Group is a Mexican family business founded by some of the pioneers of Cancun who helped turn it into the most sought-after tourist destination worldwide. Sunset World Group has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and a sincere passion for environmental conservation, which is why it implemented an Energy Efficiency Program by substituting supply technologies in its six hotels in Cancun and The Riviera Maya. In addition, as of February 2020, all Sunset World hotels are supplied with clean and renewable energy produced at Mexican wind farms and geothermal plants, which has considerably reduced the company’s carbon footprint. The activity and gastronomy programs in all six hotels were recently updated and expanded for the enjoyment of all family members, since Sunset World Group always focuses on providing the best vacation experiences for its members and guests.
