Cancún, Quintana Roo – Smiles, music, cake and lots of fun with Chipote Chillon from Chapulin Colorado, a classic children’s television show in México, were the ingredients in an afternoon that Sunset World designed for 29 children of Fundación Aitana and their parents, to give out the toys collected during the Sunset Boat Parade last December.

The location of this lively celebration was Sunset Marina Resort & Yacht Club, part of Grupo Sunset World, located in the heart of the Cancun’s Hotel Zone. The children arrived accompanied by their parents and were greeted by employees of the resort, who had prepared a delicious taquiza and a program with various activities for the little ones to entertain everyone.

The person in charge of entertainment was El Chapulin Colorado, and he did a super job. There were also contests, dancing and lots of fun.

At the end of the evening the children enjoyed a delicious cake made especially for them at Sunset Marina and they were given the toys that were donated by resort members and guests, and guests of the Sunset Boat Parade. The children and their parents left happy after this joyful evening with Grupo Sunset World.

Fundación Aitana de Cancún has been serving children with cancer who need to do their treatments in Chetumal, Mérida, Mexico City or Querétaro since 2011. The organization’s objective is to improve the quality of life of these children, as well as provide support to their parents with psychological counseling, economic resources for transportation and medicines, and even donation management so children can fulfill their dreams.

Every year Sunset World employees create unforgettable moments for these children and their families. It was an afternoon full of joy, generosity and affection.
